Delete your account

You can close your account yourself. Closing it cannot be undone from the page, so read the points below first.

Before you delete

• Only want to stop Premium? You can cancel just your Premium subscription and keep your account, your photos and your conversations. The delete page offers this first, with Cancel only Premium.
• Only want fewer emails? Switch them off in your settings.
• Only want to be less visible? Make your profile visible to members only.

Steps

1. Open Settings in Your corner.
2. In the section Account, tap Delete account.
3. Choose why you are leaving. You can add a comment.
4. Tap Delete my account. Keep my account takes you back.

What happens

• Your profile, your listings and your conversations are no longer visible.
• You are logged out at once.
• The account can no longer be used. Its page then says that the account is closed.

A running Premium

If you have a card subscription, cancel Premium first and delete the account afterwards. That way you can be sure that no further payment is taken. See cancel Premium.
