Delete your data

Deleting your account takes your profile, listings and orders out of view. For a request about stored data, use the contact form.

There are two different things people mean by "delete my data": taking their content off the site, and asking what is still stored afterwards.

Take your content off the site

You can do most of it yourself:

  • Delete single photos in the profile editor.
  • Delete listings in My listings. A deleted listing and its photos cannot be brought back.
  • Clear your About me text.
  • Delete notes and whole orders from your own list of orders. The other member keeps their copy.
  • Close the account. Your profile, your listings and your orders are then no longer visible, and you are logged out.

What a closed account does not undo

  • Requests and notes you sent stay in the orders of the member who received them.
  • Reviews you left about a seller belong to her profile.

A request about stored data

What is kept, for how long and why is described in the Privacy Policy. If you want to make a request about your stored data, use the contact form. Name the username and the email address of the account, so that the request can be matched to the right account.
