Copyright notices

If a photo or a text of yours was posted on panty.com without your permission, send us a notice. We review every complete notice and remove what infringes your rights.

What a notice must contain

We follow the notice and takedown process of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)). Your notice needs all of the following.

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorized to act for the owner.
  2. What the copyrighted work is. For several works, a representative list.
  3. The link (URL) of every page or photo on panty.com that you want removed, so that we can find it.
  4. How we can reach you: your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Where to send it

Use the form on this page, or send your notice by email or by post to our copyright contact.

Please write in English if you can. A notice sent with the form reaches the same person.

What happens next

We read every notice. If it is complete and valid, we remove the content or block access to it and tell the member who posted it. If something is missing, we may ask you for it before we act.

Please send a notice only for work that is yours. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly sends a false notice can be liable for the damage it causes.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same contact. It needs all of the following.

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. What was removed, and the link where it could be found before.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address (outside the United States, of any district in which the operator may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.

We pass a valid counter-notice on to the person who sent the notice. Unless that person tells us that a court action has been filed, we may put the content back after 10 to 14 business days.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of members who repeatedly post content that infringes the rights of others.
