Selling used knickers in the UK.

Hi guys! It’s MimisMusk here. How are we all? So, today I would like to talk to you about being a panty seller in the UK.

Obviously I am based in the UK. I don’t know if everybody knows that, but here we call them knickers. So I am in fact a “knicker seller” for Panty.com! I think there’s a couple of differences between the US and the UK, and other parts of the world actually. Apart from the fact that we call them knickers, I would say that when you get a message from a buyer in the UK they tend to be very polite.

I like it actually, I think it’s very respectful, maybe that’s because I’m also British! But I think that we have a slight, sort of, courtship. It’s very cordial. So they’ll say “Hi Mimi, How are you?” and you know “I really like your pictures” or “I’ve really enjoyed looking at your profile”. That’s really nice and there’s always a bit of conversation first.

I’ve found that sometimes sellers from other countries can be very direct.

Which from a business sense is fine, but I think it’s nice that we have little a bit of communication before we get straight down to the business of knickers!

I think that there are still some taboos for people, but I don’t think it’s just because they’re British. I think there are taboos all over the world. And actually I think there’s quite an underworld of naughtiness in the UK. We do like things to be a little bit naughty and there’s something a little bit naughty about buying panties and knickers, worn knickers.

I think there is, not so much a taboo around it anymore, but we like to have that feeling where it is a little bit naughty. As I say, I think British buyers are very polite but then that’s the same with everyone all over the UK really. I would say that sexuality in the UK is a lot more expressive now than it used to be. I think there was a lot of repression and now we’ve had a lot of laws passed obviously that means that it’s better for everybody, everybody has a lot more rights and the love is being spread which I think it’s great!

I do love selling to buyers in the UK, my home town as it were. In fact, I would say that I’ve got more buyers in the UK than I have in other parts of the world, So, it would appear that the knicker business is booming. And I would say there is definitely room for more sellers here. I think that girls would be surprised to see how good the business is here. It can be quite lucrative and it can be really good fun. So I would highly recommend the business of knickers in the UK through Panty.com.

I think there is definitely a good niche in the market. It’s obviously not just knickers, there’s other items of underwear that people buy, lots of shoes, lots of socks. In fact, I would say the sock business is something that does really well in the UK. Tights, which obviously a lot of the rest of the world call pantyhose but we call them tights, and you have stockings which obviously you wear with a suspender belt as well, they’re really popular as well.

I don’t think there are huge differences. I think really, people are people. I think wherever you go in the world there’s always going to be people that have a kink and there’s always going to be a need to be filled. It’s just whether people are brave enough to speak about it. But obviously the bigger Panty.com gets the more people are aware of it, and I’m sure there are other avenues people can explore but I’m really proud to be a part of this and it’s nice to make people happy.

So the more people there are that are selling, the more people there are that are buying, the happier they are, all the people. And that makes me feel happy!
