Make your profile visible to members only
In Settings under Privacy, switch on Only members see my profile. Visitors who are not logged in can then no longer open your profile.
Logged-in members can always open your profile. Whether visitors who are not logged in can see you as well is partly your choice: two switches in your settings change how public you are.
Steps
- Open Settings in Your corner.
- Go to the section Privacy.
- Switch on Only members see my profile. Visitors who are not logged in can then no longer open your profile.
- Switch off Show me on the start page if you do not want your profile to appear on the public start page.
- Tap Save.
What stays the same
- Logged-in members still see your profile and can write to you.
- Your conversations, followers and reviews are not touched.
What guests never see anyway
- Your email address and your real name.
- Explicit photos.
- Phone numbers, email addresses and messenger names in public texts.
Good to know
A profile for members only is found by fewer people. Sellers who want new buyers usually keep the profile public and choose photos that do not show who they are.
