Selling and listingsFor sellers

Why no buyer writes to you

Buyers contact sellers with a profile photo, several listings and long descriptions. Check these points before anything else.

Premium does not guarantee sales, and no setting brings buyers by itself. What buyers react to is what they see: your photo, your listings and your text.

Check these first

  1. A profile photo. Buyers write to profiles with a photo first. It does not have to show your face.
  2. Listings online. A profile without a live listing gives a buyer nothing to ask about. Aim for at least three.
  3. Long descriptions in your own words. Longer descriptions are shown to buyers more often. The writing help makes it easy.
  4. Several photos per listing. With 3 photos guests can see and 150 words, a listing can get the Top listing label.
  5. A price. Buyers filter by price. A listing with Ask me is skipped by many.
  6. An About me text. A few sentences about you and what buyers can expect.

Are buyers writing and you cannot see it?

On the free plan you see that someone wrote, not what. Look at your messages and at the number of waiting buyers on your home.

Keep it fresh

  • Move a listing to the top once a day.
  • Post a new listing now and then.
  • Answer every buyer quickly.
