Spot a scam

Be careful with anyone who wants to move off panty.com, asks for gift cards, codes or card details, or sends money and asks for part of it back.

Most members are honest. The few who are not use the same tricks again and again, and they are easy to recognize once you know them.

Warning signs for buyers

  • She wants you to write or pay somewhere else right away.
  • She asks for payment in gift cards or voucher codes.
  • She asks for more money after you paid, for "customs" or "insurance".
  • Her photos look copied, and she will not answer a simple question about the item.
  • The price is far below what others ask.

Warning signs for sellers

  • He sends too much and asks you to send the difference back.
  • He sends a screenshot of a payment instead of the payment.
  • He asks for your card details, a code or your password "to pay you".
  • He wants the parcel sent before any payment and pushes you to hurry.
  • He offers money for a meeting or a service.

What to do

  1. Stop. Do not pay, do not ship, do not send a code.
  2. Keep the conversation on panty.com.
  3. Report the member from their profile, with Abuse or harassment.
  4. Block them.

Remember

  • panty.com never asks for your password or your card number in a message or an email.
  • panty.com cannot refund a payment between two members.
